PokeTech Hub Limited (“PokeTech”, “we”) runs this website and the PokeTech shop at Superior Towers, Moi Avenue, Nairobi. This page explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

• We never sell dataYour details go only to the people delivering your order, never to advertisers or data brokers.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, phone number, email address and delivery or pickup location when you order on the site, on WhatsApp, by phone or in the shop.
• Messages: WhatsApp chats, emails and call notes about quotes, orders and support.
• Payment confirmations: the M-Pesa confirmation, card authorisation or bank reference for your payment — never your card number or PIN.
• Site basics: cookies that keep your cart working, and anonymous, aggregated statistics about how the site is used.

Why we use it

• To confirm, deliver and install your order, and to reach you about it.
• To keep warranty records so repairs and replacements are honoured.
• To answer the questions and quote requests you send us.
• To meet tax and accounting obligations under Kenyan law.

Who we share it with

• Couriers and riders: your name, phone number and delivery location, so your order reaches you.
• Payment providers: Safaricom (M-Pesa), card processors and banks handle your payment under their own privacy terms.

• We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
• We do not send marketing messages you have not asked for.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies to remember your cart, keep the checkout working and serve pages quickly from cache. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the cart simply will not persist without them.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for as long as Kenyan tax law requires, and warranty records for the life of your warranty. Casual enquiries that never become orders are not kept beyond the conversation.

Your rights

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Email sales@poketech.co.ke and we will respond within 7 working days.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, account passwords are never stored in plain text, and access to order information is limited to PokeTech staff who need it to serve you.
